Everything your pet needs under one roof
Having the right tool makes diagnosing a problem simpler and faster. That’s why we invest in training and equipment that allows quick, accurate assessment of your pet’s condition.
An extensive in-house IDEXX lab provides rapid response blood diagnostics to diagnose and manage our patient’s problems.
Diagnostic capabilities include:
- Blood chemistries
- Blood clotting profile
- Cortisole, Thyroid Hormone and Bile Acid screening
- Heartworm and intestinal parasite testing
- Blood gases
These in-house capabilities help us diagnose and treat conditions such as diabetes, anemias, Cushings disease, renal, liver, intestinal and infectious diseases.
For specialized testing not done in our facility we coordinate with IDEXX Reference laboratories. Turnaround is prompt using daily courier pick-up.
Radiographs produced digitally are processed faster, provide better image quality, can be transmitted to any computer screen in our facility, and can be quickly shared with referring doctors or specialist veterinary facilities. All referring veterinarians and clients receive a digital copy of their pet’s radiographs.
Ultrasound images internal organs and tissue differently from x-rays. An ultrasound can help with:
- Early pregnancy diagnosis
- Identification of bladder tumors and stones
- Prostate cancer
- Liver tumors
- Foreign bodies
- Spleen masses and tumors inside other organs
- Pancreatic Problems
Our veterinarians perform ultrasound procedures, and we have an ultrasound veterinarian on call night or day for unusual cases. For certain cases, we can call on a board-certified internal medicine specialist for specialized ultrasound diagnostics.
Our Storz video endoscope is invaluable in diagnosing diseases of the esophagus, stomach, upper small intestine and trachea. The endoscope can also be used to remove small foreign bodies from your pet’s stomach, avoiding the need for major abdominal surgery.
