We provide tender loving pet care in our separate full-service boarding areas for dogs and cats, both with plenty of light and space for your pet’s comfort. However, due to our limited boarding space, we reserve boarding for regular primary care clients of Western Carolina Regional Animal Hospital & Veterinary Emergency Hospital. You’re welcome to come tour our boarding facility and meet the staff. We want you to know your pet is in the best possible hands.

We are happy to board pets with special medical needs, such as diabetic pets, pets with special diets, pets taking daily medicines, or pets that require help getting up and walking. If you have specific instructions for your pet’s care, just let us know.

Boarding Policy

• All pets boarding at our facility must be vaccinated and parasite-free.
• Boarded pets must be over six months of age so that initial vaccinations are complete.
• Boarded pets are given out-of-kennel exercise at least five times a day.
• We provide a clean and comfy pet bed or you’re welcome to bring your own.
• If your pet has special dietary requirements, please bring your own food in labeled, sealed containers.
• Dogs staying more than three nights will be bathed prior to checkout.
• Please note, we board animals for a maximum of seven days at a time. For longer stays, we believe access to more exercise and socialization with other animals is needed for the pet’s mental well-being and we will be happy to recommend facilities that can provide that type of environment.
