Kelly L. GarrettAnimal Care Kelly L. Garrett grew up in Brevard, NC, and earned a Bachelor of Equine Studies from Virginia Intermont College while her husband, Chris, served in the Marine Corp. She joined WCRAH & VEH in 2009, where she now tends to our patients and boarding pets. Her off hours are spent with Chris, their son Kullen, Bocephus (a German Shepherd mix) and Roxy (a Pembroke Welsh Corgi). She enjoys horseback riding, camping, four-wheeling and the mountains. |

Alisha M. LucasAnimal Care Alisha M. Lucas grew up in Rutherfordton, NC and earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology at the University of North Carolina at Asheville. She has worked in the field of veterinary medicine as an animal caretaker and veterinary technician for five years, she joined the team at WCRAH & VEH in 2011. Alisha lives with her husband, Richard, and four cats: Lucky, Mittens, Smokey and Miracle. In her free time she enjoys reading, painting and spending time with her family. Her current plans are to further her education and become a doctor of veterinary medicine. |
