We are a daytime family veterinary practice and an afterhours, weekend and holiday emergency practice. The combination of the two practices in the same hospital provide for a continuity of care not found anywhere else in Western North Carolina. The hospital offers comprehensive health care for your pet. Our services include all aspects of health maintenance, medical and surgical care for sick or injured pets and weekday, normal business hours, emergency service.  

Should your pet have an emergency and need to be seen after regular business hours, our emergency hospital is available to help you and your pet throughout the night. At 8AM, the Veterinary Emergency Hospital becomes Regional Animal Hospital. Where other emergency clinics require the owner to pick up and transport their pet to their family veterinarian, we can continue the care of your pet until stable enough to travel, or if you choose, we cansee the case through. This continual care option is done seamlessly and without any interruption in care. Rounds are done twice daily so that the incoming doctor and staff are brought up to the minute with your pet’s care.
